An update and the label
Here's the start of another week, which means that JT will be home in less than a week. It sounds like his install is going well and they should be able to leave by Friday, at the latest. I'll be very ready to greet him!!! Jer has been talking to him each night but he has still been asking for him.
I made a HUGE dent in my Christmas shopping this weekend. I had a well-executed plan and made 7 stops in about 4.5 hours. I rocked it and, for the most part, avoided extremely stressful crowds! We will just need to pick up a few things next weekend.
My in-laws were a great help this weekend and it was very nice to see them spending time with Jer. He was excited to have them here and hopefully by Wednesday or Thursday he will quit asking where they are!
I also turned in my final assignment for the semester yesterday afternoon and then proceeded to start holiday baking! Some of my co-workers' last day in the office before Christmas is Wednesday so I need to have treats ready to distribute by mid-week. I've been taking class, with no full break since May so the idea that I don't have homework to execute is almost surreal!

Now on to a post I've had in my head for a while now. All over the internet there are different surveys that tell you which character of (fill in the blank) show or movie you are. More than once, I've joked with friends about which character from Steel Magnolias or Friends we are, but lately I've really started thinking about these labels of personality and character.
Take Friends for example - Monica is the anal retentive one, Joey is the "dumb" one, Ross is the brain, Phoebe is the weird one, etc.
So, I've led myself to ponder which personality I am amongst my groups of friends. Last week, I was almost the cheap one - simply by COMPLETE and TOTAL mistake of almost walking out on a check at a bar. Goodness knows I could be labeled the emotional one. Since having a kid, I could be the late one, but I think there are others that get that M.O. before me. These are the obvious ones to me but maybe there are some that I don't even realize. Those are the worst, in my opinion - unless they are good.
Now that I've made you wonder which one you would be, you can all go take those internet surveys. Have a great week!

Hi! Glad to hear you're doing well and checking things off your list left and right! :) As for labels, I think I could be called MANY different things, probably changing by the hour...the messy one...the perfectionist, the stress monkey, the PMS monster, the lover, the dreamer....but the the label I most want is "the pure one." The one with good, pure intentions that doesn't judge, doesn't appear needy, is just great with life as it is and taking it as it comes. Question is, how do I get there from here? And, what label do you really want to achieve?
