A Great Weekend!
A little time away and some special milestones for my little guys made for a great weekend. For my birthday, John had promised a weekend getaway just for the two of us. It only took 2 months to decide on a location, find time and line up babysitters!
We enjoyed a one-night getaway to Madison, where we leisurely made our way through the Farmers' market, ate lunch in a courtyard, over-indulged at The Melting Pot, and simply enjoyed each others' company. It's good to have some adult conversations that will spark upcoming blog entries here. I would also give a rousing recommendation of the Speckled Hen Inn, where we enjoyed the hot tub and some rest!

The boys enjoyed time with Grandma and Grandpa Todd. Just a few hours after leaving them we received a photo text of Jeremiah with the first fish he has ever caught. Grandpa took him fishing at Lake Le-Aqua-Na. From what we hear both boys were good sleepers.
We are now having a bit quieter week with only one kiddo at home. It feels a little odd to have Jeremiah away while he is attending bible school with Grandma S.
